Seniors

Our senior’s have helped to shape Trinity into what it is today and we hold them in esteem and great respect. Many of our family names are represented both in our church and community. Our public schools proudly use these family names as their own and it is our desire to help keep that community heritage alive.

Bible study and prayer is the main focus for our seniors and we encourage fellowship through fun and safe organized events.
A weekly Bible study is lead by one of our associate pastor’s and the group meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am. Offerings are collected for mission projects and memorials.

Monthly activities include what we call Hamburger Day, Fellowship Day, and a Fellowship Trip. Hamburger Day is held on the first Thursday and begins at 10:30 am with bingo and table games. At noon a grilled burger meal is available for $5.00. Following lunch there is a devotional topic and prayer. On the second Wednesday of each month we have Fellowship Club. A pot luck lunch is shared at 11:30 am followed by an educational topic, prayer, and recognition of birthdays and anniversaries. A Fellowship Trip is taken once a month on a day when the county bus is available to us. This day trip travels to interesting local destinations.

Nordic Walking is enjoyed by our seniors on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 am on our indoor walking track located in our Family Life Center. Other seniors meet with friends and also enjoy this track or our exercise room where they can work at their own pace.
