The Women’s Ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church exists to encourage and equip the woman of today as she faces the trials and tribulations of an ever-changing society. We renew the spirits of our women through our annual events such as the Spring and/or Summer Exit-which is our overnight escape that refreshes both our faith through the Word and our bodies while we relax at a quaint B&B. We delight in each other and in the anticipation of the coming King during our Advent By Candlelight celebration that is held on the first Sunday in December every year, also here on campus.

Additional ministries include Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) encompassing three critical elements of our church body:

The Anna Circle -responsible for the set up for Communion, changing altar paraments, and coordinating flowers for services.

The Ladies Aid -shares Christ’s love with other by supporting ministries at Trinity, in the community as well as through world wide mission projects.

The Lydia Guild – provides Baby Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief as well as providing scholarship funds and support for other mission projects.

We have a number of weekday Bible studies geared especially toward our ladies, and unique Sunday morning Bible classes that start afresh each September and run through the school year.

EXIT (Ladies Retreat) to Fredericksburg will happen again this year on the weekend of July 19-21. Accommodations will be at The Inn on Barons Creek located just 2 blocks off of Main Street. The rooms all have 2 queen size beds and can accommodate 4 people per room. Bring your friends to fill your room of let us find someone for you. Check the inn out at www.lobc-tx.com

A typical weekend will give you plenty of free time for touring the historical sites, shopping unique stores or just relaxing. You arrive on Friday, check in and the rest of the evening you are free to enjoy on your own. After enjoying a complimentary breakfast at the inn on Saturday morning, you meet with the other ladies for morning devotions. Take the rest of the Saturday to enjoy with friends and then meet back with the group for dinner. Sunday morning repeats Saturday morning with an opportunity to attend a local LC-MS church. Check out and enjoy a little more of Fredericksburg or start homeward.
