Youth
As children grow into teens their needs, desires and interests change. Our youth ministry is there to guide them through those changes and disciple them to greater faith as they grow physically and spiritually. Our goal is to be active partners with parents as well as students to bring about powerful faith formation during the Jr High and Sr High years.
Splashtown
We kick off the school year with our annual trip to Splashtown water park. We enjoy a private cove and pool for our group as well as discounted rates for all rides. REV
6th through 8th grade students are invited to play games and socialize from 7:00pm to 8:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month. Activities include dodge ball, video games, pool, ping pong and basketball. The Java Spot will sell drinks, candy and pizza until 8:00. A large group devotion will be held in the Pier from 8:00 to 8:30. Come and join us for the fun.
Youth Quake
All 7th and 8th grade students and parents are invited to attend YOUTH QUAKE. We will attend the event along with other Lutheran youth ministries in the Houston and Austin areas. Enjoy 2 bands, great speakers, crazy small group sessions and tons of fellowship. This annual trip takes place in the Spring and requires a deposit to hold your spot. Discovery
Join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Pier for our 7th and 8th grade Bible Study. Dig into God’s Word through engaging lessons and small group conversations. Invite a friend.
Crew
Join us on Sunday evenings throughout the school year for CREW- our high school small group ministry. Each small group has 6 to 8 all female or all male youth who stay together for their four high school years. Each group is led by one or two trained adults who also stay with the small group all four years. CREW provides opportunities to be re-energized and encouraged through fellowship, worship and bible study.

Sunday school
Enjoy some coffee and fellowship in the pier then join us for our Sunday morning Bible study.
Bible study is led by a variety of adult leaders who are passionate about sharing the word of God with students. Topics range from studying a book or passage in the Bible, current events, or topical issues.

Pier Renovations
When the new sanctuary was dedicated, the congregation moved out of the church built in 1985 and allowed the youth to use the space for ministry. Over the next two years volunteers and students worked together to change the large building into a usable space for youth ministry to take place. The renovation has included building office space, closing in the balcony (game room), making small group classrooms and building a large stage area. The youth have taken a building, once slated to be torn down, and turned it into an impressive facility used by many ministries on our campus. Some special features include the Java Spot Café, video game room, music studio, personal theater and conference rooms. One of the most impressive accomplishments of this renovation was that it was done without church funding using only volunteer labor and donated funds. God has truly blessed this congregation with an exciting space for kids to own and grow in His Word.
