The below will be the published policy for our 2022-23 school year unless otherwise required. This policy has been created using the guidance from local, state, & federal health officials. 

Covid Policy Aug 17, 2022

If your student test positive for Covid 19. Positive Cases will be required to: HERE

If you are a staff member and test positive for Covid 19. Positive Cases will be required to: HERE

Testing for Covid on Campus

• Students will only be tested on campus if:
  • They present in the clinic with symptoms; and

• If you had symptoms:
  • Day 0 is the day of symptoms onset, regardless of when you tested positive.
  • Day 1 is the first full day after the day your symptoms started.
• If you had no symptoms:
  • Day 0 is the day you tested positive.
  • Day 1 is the first full day following the day you tested positive.

Return to Campus

• If you had no symptoms,
  • Return on Day 6.

• If you had symptoms,
  • Return on Day 6 if:
    • Symptoms are improving, and
    • Fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications).

Quarantine

• If you have a household member who tests positive, you will not be required to quarantine. We ask for your support and cooperation in monitoring your student for symptoms. It will take all of us working together to keep our campus and students healthy.

Covid Make Up Work Policy

• Grades K-4 will receive a make up packet the day following notification of absence. If notified by noon the packet will be ready by pickup the following day.
• Grades 5-8 will be able to find make up work on google classroom and will have a scheduled check in with the teacher if they will miss more than 3 days of school.
