Day 10

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Al the believers were one in heart and mind. Acts 4:31-32a

To be of one heart and mind with others is a precious gift! For the saints of the New Testament church, their hearts and minds had been united by one through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. What an exciting time to have lived!

But that time has not ended, in fact you are living in that same time. For all of us who believe in the name of the Lord Jesus has been filled with the same Holy Spirit and we find that we are of one heart and mind with other believers. Through the work of the Spirit God creates a circle of others where we can connect and do life together. These people serve to support us and carry us through the tough times of life and they are there to celebrate with us in the joys of life.

As we close out this week, take a look around you and really identify your circle. Give thanks to them in your prayers, but also take some time today to text them and let them know what they mean to you.
