Day 15

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans 8:38-39

As we close out our time together, hold on to this first. Know that not death nor anything in life can pull you away from God. Angels or demons don’t have the power to strip away God’s love for you. Our fears and worries about tomorrow cannot separate us form God. Not even the very powers of hell can do this.

No matter the anxious times we are living through, God continues to hold fast to us, giving us strength to hold fast to him. I’m reminded of the times when my children were younger and when they would become scared, they would run to me with arms up ready to be scooped up in my arms. I would grab them and hold them snugly in my arms, and immediately they would wrap their tiny arms around my neck and squeeze. Together we would hold fast and tight to each other.

Navigating our world today is filled with all kinds of challenges. When it seems too much, run to Him and He will scoop you up and hold you tight!
