This is the reality of our faith. We have overcome the world and we have victory but it wasn't won by us. In fact we did nothing for it. Jesus did it all, our victory is in faith - in trust in His work and His victory. Now, just because we did nothing for the victory, doesn't mean it has no impact on our lives. In fact it's just the opposite. Since we participate in Christ's victory and through him have overcome the world, our lives are changed and transformed.
