DC4K

Divorce Care for Kids

If you know a child hurting because of divorce, bring him or her to DivorceCare for Kids, a special place for kids ages 5-12 to find help and healing. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand what it feels like when parents get divorced.

Our DivorceCare for Kids group combines games, crafts, activities, music, and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted. At DC4K kids find joy and hope built on God’s love!

Trail Life USA

Trail Life is a Christ-centered character, leadership, and outdoor adventure experience for your son in kindergarten through twelfth grade! Trail Life USA is a national organization with a mission to guide courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and enjoy outdoor adventure.

Meetings will be held twice a month on Sunday afternoons from 4 to 5:30 p.m., conveniently on the same dates and times as our “sister” American Heritage Girls program. An additional outing activity will also be scheduled each month. You can contact Trail Life Troop TX-1333 at traillife@trinityklein.org.

American Heritage Girls

Christ-Centered Leadership for Girls

AHG helps girls acquire skills that will assist them in all areas of life. These skills may include how to use a computer, sew on a button, protect themselves, learn about their ancestors, or what it takes to be an astronaut. The Badge Program provides opportunities for girls to interact across age groups, as older girls teach younger girls.

AHG’s multi-level troop structure offers many opportunities for girls to experience different leadership roles. AHG exists to help girls learn more about God, about how to walk in faith, and the need to seek God’s will in our lives. Working as a team is important within a Troop, especially when the girls venture outdoors! Spending Troop time in God’s creation is full of fun and excitement as each girl sees nature bear witness to our huge, infinitely creative God. You can contact AHG at ahg@trinityklein.org.

Springing Hope 1:27

Foster Care and Adoption

Springing Hope 1:27 is a ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church to answer God’s call to care for orphans through education, support, and advocacy so that children will know the love of Jesus. Through adoption seminars, mom’s groups, educational forums, orphanage care packages and Bible studies, we seek to care for the fatherless both locally and internationally. We are partnered with Alliance 14:18 which is an alliance of churches in the Greater Houston area who have adoption, foster and orphan care ministries.
