About 150 years ago, the day after each season’s first cold norther blew in Klein, Texas, smoke rose from the smokehouse of every farm as families gathered to make and smoke sausage. Trinity’s Men’s Club has been keeping this tradition alive for the last twenty years, and this year we would like to invite everyone to join us on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
If you have never experienced sausage making, or remember when this was done in your childhood, or if you are an old pro, please join us for good old fashioned fun. After all, in the olden days, this was an affair involving several families joining together and filling several smokehouses.
The fun begins at 10am. We’ll take a lunch and beverage break, and continue ‘till it’s all hanging in the smokehouse, usually around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. This is for adults only – men and women. Anyone may purchase the finished product at $3 per pound which covers the cost of the ingredients.

Everything will be ready for you, including all tools of the trade, you don’t need to bring anything except a good appetite, willing hands, and a cheerful, holiday attitude.
