CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE

“Joy to the World” Celebration”

 

Only 30 families will be selected for the Christmas assistance. Our church families will “adopt” families who have applied for Christmas assistance. Together they will celebrate the birth of Jesus on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 11-1pm at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Families will enjoy light refreshments, music, devotions, crafts, pictures with Santa, and fellowship.  Gifts will go home with families directly after the afternoon celebration.

If you cannot make the event, you need to make the proper arrangements to have the gifts picked up that date.

Here are the dates for in-person sign-ups:

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Proof of Identification:
– Valid Drivers License or Picture Identification
– Birth Certificate for each child in the household.

2) Proof of government assistance:
– Copy of SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, Social Security, HUD/Section 8, SSI/SSD for all members of the household, and VA benefits received in the last 30 days for each member in the household.

3) You must live in the following zip codes in order to qualify for the assistance: 77379, 77069, 77068, 77388, 77375, 77090

Celebración “Alegría para el Mundo”

 

Sólo 30 familias serán seleccionadas para la ayuda navideña. Las familias de nuestra iglesia “adoptarán” familias que hayan solicitado asistencia navideña. Juntos celebrarán el nacimiento de Jesús el sábado 14 de diciembre de 2024 de 11 a 13:00 horas en la Iglesia Luterana Trinity.  Las familias disfrutarán de refrigerios, música, devocionales, manualidades, fotografías con Santa y compañerismo.  Los regalos se entregarán a las familias inmediatamente después de la celebración de la tarde.

Si no puede asistir al evento, deberá hacer los arreglos adecuados para recoger los regalos en esa fecha.

Estas son las fechas para las inscripciones presenciales:

REQUISITOS:

1) Prueba de Identificación:
– Licencia de conducir válida o identificación con fotografía
– Acta de Nacimiento de cada niño del hogar.

2) Comprobante de asistencia gubernamental:
– Copia de SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, Seguro Social, HUD/Sección 8, SSI/SSD para todos los miembros del hogar y beneficios de VA recibidos en los últimos 30 días para cada miembro del hogar.

                3) Debe vivir en los siguientes códigos postales para poder calificar para la asistencia: 77379, 77069, 77068, 77388, 77375, 77090
