Day 11

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22

How easy is it for you to vulnerable? To be open and honest and real with others in your life and with God? Vulnerability takes an immense amount of trust in someone. When you open up to them you are showing them a tender spot in your life and what they do with that knowledge can either bring healing or greater hurt. Many times, we shy away from opening up out of fear that greater hurt is going to come.

When dealing with anxiety, the vulnerability is found in admitting you have it and are struggling with it. By sharing it with others though, you reduce its impact on you.

Even though you may not have a person or a place where you can be vulnerable at this moment, God is always there and is always a safe place to cast your cares. As we lay our cares and anxiety on Him, He sustains us.
